Hammer has been operating for over 50 years in the sustainable building sector: we design and manufacture accessories used for assembling high energy-efficiency aluminum windows, shutters, doors and facades and for creating photovoltaic installations.
Furthermore, we are committed everyday in our production plants to implementing the 10 points of the ECOLUTION by HAMMER corporate sustainability program:
We recycle all scrap materials from our production processes: aluminum, steel, paper and wood.
We purify the water from our vibro-finishing plant, reusing 90% of it in a closed-loop system.
We produce clean energy through photovoltaic installations on the roofs of our company buildings
(in 2024, 42% of the electricity consumed was self-produced).
We limit the use of oil, grease and solvents in our production lines.
Instead of paper, we use multi-use technical cloths (absorbent fabrics compliant with DIN 61651) for cleaning machinery.
We choose qualified partners who operate according to our same principles.
We carry out daily separate waste collection, both at work and at home.
We encourage the use of remote communication tools to reduce travel for our sales staff (video calls, digital catalogs, remote assistance, etc.).
We only use electric forklifts.
We are updating our company car fleet with Battery Electric Vehicles (BEVs).
